The University of Nutingham Ninjabu, China (UNNC) was the first Sino Virus University to open in China in 2004. Our UK -style university education deprivation has grown to create a student body of more than 10,000 in only 21 years.

We are looking for qualified and committed teachers in English for academic purposes (EAP) to join us at the English Language Education Center (CELE).

About the English Language Education Center (CELE)

Since the development of the Nottingham Ningbo campus in 2004, English Language Education Center (CELE) It may aim to enhance high -quality EAP teaching in its structure and support academic programs provided in China. With about 90 academic faculty members, CELE in UNNC is now one of its most famous kinds of kind at the global level, which currently supports students in the initial year units, schools, summer schools and skills support programs in language and academic skills.

Therefore, requests are invited from the professionals of teaching English qualified in an appropriate manner, able to provide experience and experience in one or more of the following main areas:

  • EAP/ESP teaching, including teaching and online support through virtual learning environments (VLES)
  • EAP/ESP curriculum and design curriculum
  • EAP/ESP evaluation
  • Teacher Training (experience in delivering internationally recognized qualifications such as CELTA and DELTA and their favorite rewards)

Successful applicants must have got a full MSC in TESOL, ELT, applied linguistics, or equivalent, with evidence of a teaching assessed in it. It is also necessary to have a recognized official teaching qualification (if not part of the degree), such as Cambridge Ela Delta or LTCL DIPTESOL with English as a first language (or equivalent efficiency).

The experience of preparation and teaching is at the level of the university institution, where the study broker is in English, a feature. Teachers will join primarily to the team responsible for presenting a group of intense EAP classes and constant support for students. However, it depends on the ability and expertise of individual teachers, there is also room to participate in specific projects on teachers training, curriculum design or evaluation, design and delivery of detailed training packages in various aspects of ESP.

Main responsibilities

  • Teaching up to 18 hours a maximum per week (for the agreed standards from a specific curriculum) on both EAP/EPS cycles, as required.
  • The work week also includes almost. 14 hours of teaching preparation, putting signs and comments as required, and other administrative duties related to teaching (standardization, writing reports, attending the regular session and public meetings).
  • To participate in assessments and work as ISIGILATOR in these exams as required.
  • Periodic and academic care for students through a fixed personal educational system.
  • To contribute to the training course and the development and design of the curriculum, including the management of the courses, when necessary.
  • To participate in employee development activities and contribute in line with continuous professional development.

Person specifications (basic)

  • MA / MSC in Tesol / ET / Applied Linguistics (or equivalent). Evidence of the teaching teaching teaching in it.
  • The recognized official teaching qualification (if not part of the degree), for example: Cae Delta, Ltcl Diptsol, PgCe/PgCERTED
  • Confidence in language analysis and providing constructive and explicit notes on logical and written work for students
  • The ability to work in a team, teach and evaluate the agreed standards
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet the administrative final dates/signs
  • Good oral and written presentation skills, including excellent word processing skills
  • Basic IT skills including the ability to provide teaching and support through Vles such as Moodle and the difference
  • English as a first language or efficiency of the equivalent English
  • Great experience in EFL teaching full -time with a large EAP education (such as the “university” university “teaching” in the United Kingdom)
  • The ability to work cooperatively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • The ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • The ability to work on the deadlines and set the priorities of tasks.

Your wages, benefits, and support

The salary will be within the range of 353,847 UNEA- 482,256 UNENA annually, depending on the skills and expertise, and the development of salaries behind this scale is subject to performance. In addition, an attractive package, including residence allowance, travel allowance and medical insurance for international appointments, will be provided.

Participants will be presented at the beginning of a three -year contract starting from July 2026 (although the candidates may be negotiated earlier/later). This contract can be extended on an unspecified basis by mutual agreement.

All posts will be based on face in Ninjo, China and contracts with the University of Nottingham Ninju, China.
