Project engineer at Sheffield University

Are you a scientific graduate with a thirst for knowledge and talent to capture new skills? Do you flourish on a mix of practical experimental work and in -depth data analysis? We are looking for a quick -learning individual with strong, convertable research skills to join the peripheral operation team at the advanced manufacturing research center (AMRC), as a project engineer.
It will be effective in evaluating, improving and applying peripheral processes and associated technology. Your focus will be on increasing efficiency in manufacturing processes, specifically through developments in grinding, transformation, drilling, CAM strategy, virtual machines, and the ability of the automatic tool.
The leading technologies, through the components of the demonstration of manufacturing. Cooperation is the key; You will work closely with partners, help in the scope of new projects, and provide complex initiatives, with the support of experienced employees, ensuring that you have the guidance you need to achieve success.
This role includes an accidental travel or meetings on the site, within the United Kingdom, but with international flights from time to time. This role will also include an occasional work within the defense sector.
