About the role
Applications are invited to a part -time clinical teacher in oral surgery. One of the main aspects of this position is to provide clinical teaching and support the training of university students from BDS who provide dental care.

About you
This post will be perfectly suitable for experienced dental practitioners with their interest in teaching dental students and clinical experience in the field of oral surgery. The appropriate honorary clinical contract will be requested from Barts Health NHS TRUST, and the successful applicant is expected to participate in all aspects of clinical governance activities and participate in the QMUL employee evaluation scheme. The successful applicant must have a full registration contract for the Dental Council (GDC).

About the school/department/institute/project
IOD is conducting internationally recognized research in OTESHAPEL for more than a century and is constantly classified as 20 rating of the Dentistry School. The IOD research environment is excellent (4*) and is evaluated in the framework of the 2021 research excellence. Moreover, IOD research structure provides a smooth pathway for translation and clinical research. IOD has a long and proud history in providing world famous teaching programs, currently providing two university students and 19 training programs after graduates that include eight specialized training programs in most dental specialties, with a combined group of C500 students. In 2014, we opened the first new dental school and hospital in the United Kingdom for 40 years, the amazing Royal London Dental Hospital, which costs 78 million pounds, which includes some of the most technological dental facilities in the country. Moreover, we have invested 1.8 million in HAPTIC technology, with 42 SIMODONONTIC Tenniums the most simulators in the world, with a custom space and employees to support this type of augmented learning.

This position is located at the Royal Dental Hospital, Whitechape, a part-time post, one day per week, (3 vacant) is a permanent date, with the expected start date in October 2025. The pre-classic salary will be in 2009, 45,943 pounds, to 82,701 pounds (Pro-Rata), comfortable to provide London.
