Opportunity

Warren Laboratory has an opportunity for a role that focuses on research in the field of insects for two years. The role that focuses on the laboratory will be a mixture of physiology, photography of modern electronic microscopy, and basic molecular biology techniques. Analytical and programming skills such as Dragonfly and RSTudio/ Matlab are preferred but not necessary. The ability to travel internationally is necessary for the role of electronic microscope training, field work and attendance at an international conference.

The post -candidate holder will receive a certificate in biological or physiological discipline (physicists with laboratory experience are encouraged to apply). The postal holder will need accurate dissection skills, which will be tested as part of the application process. The job session of this role is possible if the two candidates want to work part -time and have different skills for this role.

Your work will contribute to the function and development of auditory and incentive organs (known as Chordotonal members). It is expected to work closely with the Warren Laboratory to produce high -quality leaflets and interact with other researchers at the College of Life Sciences and International.
