About the role

We are looking for a manager of quality assurance and governance with experience and directed towards the details of the development and implementation leadership and supervision of quality assurance systems and clinical governance frameworks in the Office of our research and governance ethics. This leadership role is necessary to ensure that all clinical research it sponsors adhere to the highest standards of organizational compliance, the safety of participants, ethics and scientific integrity.

Main responsibilities

  • The development and implementation of strong clinical governance strategies is in line with institutional, national and international standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with organizational bodies such as MHRA and HRA and the relevant university policies.
  • It leads in clinical risk management, accident reports, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support academic departments in maintaining high standards of clinical practice in research.
  • Providing expert guidance on clinical governance issues to researchers and teachers and the higher leadership.
  • Supervising internal audits and preparing for external inspection and accreditation.
  • The hero of a culture of transparency, learning and excellence in clinical research and education.

About you

  • Great experience in clinical governance, quality guarantee, or compliance with health care within research or academic.
  • Knowledge experts in the UK clinical research systems and governance frameworks.
  • Strong driving, communications, and stakeholders ’participation skills.
  • The ability to work cooperatively through academic, secret and administrative teams.
  • Related qualifications, equivalent experience in clinical research, governance, care, or quality guarantee.
  • Handing with medical devices and human tissue laws will be useful.
