We are looking for a post-PhD research colleague to join the Rajani Laboratory as part of the new BHF-UK’s new BHF-UK Research.

Opportunity:

Rajani Laboratory examines the mechanisms of damage to white materials in the blood vessels and other dementia. We use a group of innovative methodologies and models to understand changes in the lack of a few in vascular diseases, and the interaction of this nervous activity. In this project, a research colleague in Vitro and EX Vivo techniques will be used to investigate the relationship between abdominal cells, oligudndrocytes and neurons in the context of Alzheimer’s dementia and vascular dementia.

This full -time post (35 hours per week) is 100 % on campus.

The salary for this position 41,064 pounds to 48,822 pounds annually.

Your skills and characteristics for success:

• Doctorate degree (or close to ending) in neuroscience or other relevant discipline
• Experience with neurons, folding and/or blood vessels
• The ability to work independently
• An independent, proactive and creative thinker
• The ability to solve problems and explore technical difficulties, explore and fix errors
