Business Director,
Business manager
• Location: Los Angeles, California
Type: full time, exempt
• Salary range: $ 70,000 annually (fits with experience)

Summary of the situation:
The Grouinglings Theater and School is looking for an experienced business manager with very organized to oversee accounting duties, observer observer, company maintenance, public human resources functions and other administrative tasks. The Business Director will submit a report to the administrative director. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in detail, financial skills, excellent accounting and attention to theatrical arts.
Public accounting duties/observer include: the following:
- Supervising the daily operations of the accountable accounts, the accountable accounts, holding notebooks, magazine entries, POSPAY accounting and GAAP accounting.
- Issuing financial data monthly to the council, as well as the annual reports of the main company
- Classification and registration of income, the collapse of the money received through Tessitura for each department
- Monitoring and maintaining compliance with contracts, mortgages, lending and insurance agreements, etc.
- Bills, collection, record payments for all Indy show rents, classroom rental, corporate training, and any other special event
- Registration of cash receipts/checks from the box and the school, and make ordinary banking deposits
- Managing sellers/general contractors, bills and timetable for payment, etc.
- A monthly settlement procedure for each bank account
- Conducting a periodic settlement for all customer accounts and sellers to ensure accuracy and pushing them in time
- Preserving the simple IMF and reconciling it
- Administration of annual audit, gathering information for external account audiences
- Setting and monitoring fixed assets
- Putting signs and monitoring drawing expenses
- Record and create the daily notebook entries for all paid transactions at the end of the fiscal year (class income, insurance, rental contracts, etc.)
- Evaluation and treatment of consumption annually
- Connecting and closing the end of each fiscal year within the accounting program
- Maintaining the account chart
- Maintaining the annual budget
- Maintaining an organized accounting system
Company maintenance – taxes, permits, insurance, etc.
- Maintaining all the company’s permits for compliance (firefighting permit, health permit, seller permit, police warning permit, business tax certificate, etc.)
- Maintaining all the company’s insurance plans and providing information to the broker for all renovations and quotes (commercial responsibility, package insurance, D&O Police, etc.)
- Providing government models and taxes required annually (1099s, 571-l Business Real Estate, Information Statement, etc.)
- Collect sales tax from customers and transfer them to the government (privileges and goods only)
- Providing all financial information to the external accountant, which is the company’s taxes at the end of the year
Public H/R duties:
- Manage the recruitment process for new employees – preparing them in the Paychex system, and with the tools and papers needed to start work.
- Maintaining the relationship with H/R Consulting to supervise training, compliance and employee management
- Supervising the entitlements of employees, insurance and holidays/pto
- Maintaining the legal compliance with government/federal regulations, worker companies reports, audit/audit reports, and employee tax maintenance and records.
- Treatment of salary statements in time and employee access/training for the electronic time card system
- Maintain employee files and update employee salaries as needed
Other general supervisors duties:
- Buy supplies and equipment as authorized by the administration (snacks from the green room, office supplies, concessions, etc.)
