The College of Health Sciences offers an exciting and permanent opportunity for an ambitious or experienced lecturer to join our team. A successful candidate will have a graduate degree in the field of the relevant topic, and it is desirable that the candidates currently have a registration with a relevant professional health care body (for example NMC, HCPC). For this post, we are particularly interested in applicants who can support the provision of leadership and management units in the school in pre -registration programs and graduate studies.

The College of Health Sciences is a school among professionals located in the College of Medicine and Health and provides health and care education at the University of Bangur. The school works in partnership with health, social and educational sponsors through firm links to enable a clinical and academic experience for nursing students for children. The school offers a complete portfolio at university, postgraduate studies, short health courses, care and professionals. We hold the Athena Swan bronze prize in appreciation of our commitment to gender equality and progress in the university’s policies, practices and culture.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is desirable for this position.

This post is available on the career path for education and scholarships. Here in the College of Health Sciences, we appreciate the partnership that we possess with students and give priority to support and encouragement to all our students through their various programs. The school provides a welcoming context for the least experienced lecturers to develop their capabilities. We offer in -depth definition and academic guidance, as well as opportunities to conduct PGCERT in the applicant, which led to a recognized qualification at the national level. A successful candidate will have opportunities to contribute to teaching and learning through the university school programs portfolio through our professional units. The successful candidate is also expected to contribute to a broader scale to reflect their professional and educational specialties. Our courses aim to focus on students, supported by strong education ethics in vocational education, providing experience in a set of settings and setting a strong focus on the partnership that works with the health and regional care sector.

This role will be on the campus in Bangur. Through our dynamic framework, there will also be an option to spend time working from a distance (although staying in the United Kingdom) to support the balance of work life, which will be discussed with the candidates in the interview. Requests will also be considered to implement this role on a part -time share or job.

The successful candidate is expected to start as soon as possible.
