The Department of Linguistics at Georgetown University invites the requests of post -doctoral partner for one year in the applied linguistics to start on January 1, 2026.

We are looking for an applied linguist who has experience in learning the second language, teaching, evaluation or technology -based education, as well as using quantitative or mixed methodological methods. A successful candidate must have a strong evidence or promise to search, publish and a successful teaching record. The duties include teaching one course in the Spring of 2026 and one course in the fall of 2026, some students ’guidance, and service in one administration committee. The salary is competitive.

Qualifications:

PhD at hand by appointment time. Candidates must show a strong promise to distinguish in teaching as well as research.
