As part of the Fox Corporation and Fox Television stations, we feel the introduction of most of the original programming hours in DC, Maryland and Virginia Local Television Market.

As a multimedia product, you should be enthusiastic about local news, provide exceptional television programming, digital programming, and flow to the market. The ideal candidates will have a brilliant approach to displaying content ideas and story ideas across multiple platforms online, without connection, personally.

What will you do?
• Production leadership: responsible for daily production activities for specific news bulletins and multimedia projects, from facilitating the process of collecting news to editing decisions and post -production decisions.
• Create content: Develop original slices, write convincing stories, build a thicker, and edit text programs for various media formats.
• The team’s cooperation: Work closely with executives, other producers, writers, correspondents, correspondents, and control room employees to ensure multimedia newsletter technically.
• Optical coordination: Cooperation with the Office of Appointments and Field Conditions to coordinate live bullets and duties, provide graphics and video and logistical support.
• Digital integration: Record and editing the video to include text programs and coordination with web/social teams to ensure comprehensive coverage of all news stories via the Internet and on the air.
• Active participation: Participation actively in the liberation, management and daily production meetings.

What we are looking for
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in the press or relevant field with no less than three years experience in an average TV market to another.
• Skills: strong news ruling, strong writing skills, storytelling skills, and knowledge of current events.
• Organizational Excellence: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to deal with multiple projects simultaneously, and work under narrow final dates.
• Problem solving: severe critical thinking skills and excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to expect problems, clarify solutions, and provide clear trends.
Creativity: You should be able to think outside the box and find new ways to provide information.
• Skills of dealing with others: Strong skills in dealing with others, and constantly shows professional behavior with the ability to stay cold under pressure and deal with strong characters.
• Collective action: the ability to work independently and as part of a coherent team.

Fox 5 DC / FOX 5 Plus is a 24/7 process. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, including evenings, early morning, weekends and holidays, and in the case of urgent news.

Pursuant to the requirements of government and local wages detection, the salary/range rate for this role, with the final offer amount depends on education, skills, experience and location 90,000.00-105,000.00 annually. This role is also qualified to get many advantages, including medical/teeth/vision, insurance, 401 (K) plan, paid leave, and other advantages according to the applicable plan documents. The benefits of the employees representing the union will be in accordance with the applicable collective negotiation agreement.
