Overview of the situation

We are looking for an experienced general adviser to join our driving team on a part -time basis. This mixed role is based on Dallas, Texas and provides flexibility with the need for a strong presence on the ground for major issues.

The ideal filter will bring deep experience in future trading and organizational compliance, specifically with CFTC and NFA rules, to help direct the strategic growth of our company and protect our commercial operations.

Main responsibilities

As the main legal advisor of the executive team.

Ensure compliance with CFTC, NFA and other relevant organizational bodies.

Drafting, reviewing and negotiating the main contracts, agreements and policies.

Provide advice on risk management, licensing, and trading software structures.

Supervising conflict resolution, organizational inquiries, and litigation as needed.

Work through jobs with compliance teams, risks and operations.

Qualifications

JD from the accredited law school; An active license to practice law in the United States

5+ years of legal experience, with a strong background in futures, derivatives, or commodity law.

In -depth knowledge of CFTC/NFA and enforcement regulations.

Experience in working with private trading companies, brokerage, or favorite financial institutions.

Strong negotiations, communication and problem solving.

The ability to work independently in part -time ability to actively engage with driving.
