The basic function:

Supporting professional activities in the low -level radio frequency group (LLRF) in an experienced role.

Main responsibilities:

• Provides professional support for LLRF online systems via the site
• Support for the R&D student, which focuses on R&D, provides the TriUMF LLRF group
• It can include work (under the general guidance of his teacher)

• System expert in the aspects of LLRF systems used in the leading position in reform, pre -emptive maintenance strategy and long -term projects
• Creating LLRF and system response
• Llrf test is conducted
• Active preparation, support, exploring errors and repairing them online systems

• Support is required on request and after hours. Candidates must have a reliable means of transportation and be able to reach Triumf within 1-2 hours when calling outside normal working hours.

Supervising:

• The role of the individual shareholder without a condition for supervision or leadership of others
• It is expected that you will provide guidance and assistance to professionals at the level of entry and technical staff in the field of their job
• It may provide the direction of work for novice professionals

Knowledge and skills:

The situation requires:

• It understands the RF and SRF principles and is able to apply them to the positions of exploring and repairing errors
• Experiment in dual -chlorine design of microwave electronics.
• Capable of testing cavities and systems with limited supervision
• Comprehensive knowledge in the field of expertise, including tasks, operations and practices
• Creating clear test plans, design notes or conference papers to support a small project with the supervision of its teacher
• Capable of communicating with senior internal and external professionals in the field of special experience

Nuclear energy factor (new):

Some work will require access to exclusion areas where active ingredients are. The situation requires that the job operator be trained as new. This is required to reach and work in areas that are limited to news, as well as for planning and conducting work in radiation environments. Training will be provided by Triumf.

The minimum qualifications and experience:

• It requires a Bachelor’s degree in scientific or engineering discipline
• Usually I have 4-7 years of professional experience or its equivalent in the LLRF field

The applicants must be legally able to work in Canada on a permanent basis (Canadian citizen or permanent resident).
