The University of California Luther (Cal Luther) is looking for an experienced, comprehensive and cooperative leader to be its next dean of the Faculty of Arts and Science.

Cal Lutheran was located in 1959, which was established in 1959, which was officially recognized as an institution of Spanish origin since 2016, and is home to 2,297 university students and 1054 graduate students. Students come from 67 countries and represent a wide range of religions and spirituality. The dean will bring a deep rapprochement of the traditions of free arts and is expected to support the collection of faculty members, raise the level of profile and resources to the college for the benefit of faculty and students, raise the success of students, build cooperation through campus units through relations, and provide modern, transparent and effective leadership for the college.

As a senior academic leader, the next dean will be a preacher and an effective partner for the college inside the university and will act as the executive and intellectual president of the college. This leader will have a clear commitment to diversity, fairness, integration, justice and belonging. The upcoming dean must possess high academic credentials and a record of the scientific achievement that deserves the rank of professor in Cal Luther. A clear and progressive record for administrative leadership is required. The next dean must also show the ability to drive, visualize and innovate; To involve and unify the ingredients; To listen carefully and communicate convincingly; To build strong relationships and cooperate effectively throughout the university; To understand and support the needs of all disciplines; To secure external financing; To develop partnerships outside the university; To operate the functions of the administrative college and the budget with a high level of skill.
