Perhaps I heard whispers in the office that the demobilization of workers is coming. The last performance review may have been less than my star. Or maybe you are not happy with your current turn and want to follow a job elsewhere. The question is: Is it acceptable to search for another job when she currently works?

There are two trains to think about this question. In this way, searches will come to you directly (as alerts), which reduces the time required to make sites in the hope of finding something meaningful. If you find the jobs referred to, they are not what you are looking for, improve your search standards until you get them properly.

3. Be aware of when you can interview the interviews

Whenever possible, arrange phone or video interviews during lunch break or after work. Remember that the current employer trusts you to work for them when you are at work. Try to deal with your search in your time, not the employer.

4. Take a vacation if necessary

If you need to have a personal interview during normal working hours, it takes time to work. Take a personal leave (PTO) or even satisfactory leave to do personal meetings or deal with applications that require more attention and must be done during your business day.

5. Plan what you say if your boss discovers that you are looking elsewhere

It may be tempting to lie and create a story to explain the situation (“someone should use my profile to search for work! Not me!”, But your safety is linked to your word and name. Protect your reputation by thinking by how to deal with this in advance:

• How much will you reveal a job search?
• Will you ask for their help and/or references?
• Can you use this as an opportunity to discuss what is not working in your current job?

Mobility in the search for a job while hiring is not easy, but practical. You realize that protecting your income and professional life is important, and your reputation can be damaged if you do not give priority to your time and goals accordingly. Speak honestly, avoid excessive excessive work (especially with current co -workers who may be aware of the search for a job) and refrain from destroying the current employer’s reputation during the research to make a change.
