When you are in the Loire Valley, you should visit Chatau, so we chose Chatau de chenonceau, about 10 miles south of Amboise. This beautiful chat that extends to the Sher River is steeped in history – Catherine de Medesi, Diane of Boytires, Louise Lauren, Charles VIII from Francis, Francis I from France, and even World War II when Jews were exposed through property to freedom.

The lunch returned to Amboise, after which we went to see CHATEAU where Leonardo Da Vinci lived for 3 years before his death. We were in the English -speaking tour of Cateau, and there were only two of us on that round. Very fun. He was already buried in Amuiz, in the chapel of St. Hubert.

Note that Vouvray is very nice as well.
