The Sports Training Department is looking for an experienced sports coach. Under the supervision of the Assistant Sports Director of Sports Medicine, the coach works for 10 months annually (August 1- May 31) and is responsible for sporting health care assistance under the supervision of a doctor (doctors) of the team. Responsibilities also include helping to supervise and coordinate the LVC sports medicine program in preventing injuries, evaluating and managing sports injuries, and short and long rehabilitation of sports injuries, and teaching and consulting sports students about injuries and prevention. Favorite qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in the field of specialization and 4 years of professional experience, or a master’s degree and two years of professional experience, as well as certification by the Board Board (BOC). It is also preferable to repeat the state’s sports training license, familiarity with NCAA management rules, first aid certificate, strength and air conditioning experience. Availability of travel, evening or large weekend hours as necessary, the ability to raise up to 40 lbs on a regular basis (or with help), and a valid PA driving license.
