International Charitable Business Director at Oxford University

About the role
As a senior member of the Leadership Team at the Oxford University Development Office and the participation of graduates (DAE), the World Charitable Business Director will be an integral part in determining the strategic direction of the university’s international donation collection initiatives, in addition to providing leadership and support for three employees’ teams abroad: New York, Hong Kong, and TOKYO. In addition, the postal holder will manage his own portfolio of donors and prospects, and often works directly with the chief development officers, graduates and university leadership. The director of international charitable business will play a decisive role in developing the strategy and leading the collection of donations abroad for the university, as Oxford enters its next campaign, which has reached billions of pounds.
About you
- A great experience in collecting donations, including success installed in securing seven personal gifts in the UK and/or international
- I gained experience in a successful and fundraising campaign
- Experience of management installed in a complex organization
- Strong leadership skills, a cooperative management style and experience in employee management successfully in a proactive and positive way
- Excellent communication skills, by mouth and writing
- The ability to develop good business relations with the academic community has proven closely with academics, university leaders and administrators
- The ability to represent the University of Oxford between a group of external electoral districts
- Excellent general level of education, including degree or equivalent
- Attention to higher education
