Teamsters Local 2010 is pleased to announce Federation representative – North California A position to be filled as soon as possible.
This situation provides a unique opportunity to support more than 23,000 administrative services, a panel, a skilled trade, and two bad managers working in public education. The Federation is currently looking for interested candidates to support the North California -San Francisco. The Federation headquarters is located in Auckland with the Bellflower satellite office, California. This position will submit a report to the Auckland office.
This position will submit reports to the treasury secretary or the designer and be responsible for representing the interests of Teamsters Local 2010, its employees, members and employees at all times with employers, government federations, labor councils in the regions, central work councils, subsidiaries and electoral department groups.
The Union Representative – North California supports the campus, health centers and remote work areas in San Francisco and may support other California sites as needed.

Description of duties

The minimum requirements
- From 3 to 5 years of experience that represents workers in the labor movement. Experience with compromising units in the preferred public sector. Knowing the work from Hera and Birb is desirable.
- Experience with internal and external organizational campaigns
- Experience in work in an international union or a very large local federation involved with elected leaders across many local population, classes or stores
- A university degree in the field associated with work, or extensive experience and ability that has been shown in work relations, work organization, or related work
- Strong skills in speaking to the public and experience in communicating the union messages is a must
- Mastering computer with database/spreadsheet, e -mail, internet, text processing and social media

- A valid driver’s license and car insurance and cars are required to use work
Physical demands: This position includes a mixture of field and office work that requires routine travel to work, participation in events, and other tasks that require periods of sitting, walking, standing, bending, twisting, and seizing or raising heavy elements.
compensation
Teamsters Local 2010 offers a competitive salary suitable for work experience. The salary range for this position is $ 76,807 to $ 130,874 and will be exempt from extra time. In addition, medical health insurance, teeth, vision, life and retired health insurance will be provided. Car allowance will be provided.
