Devops Lead engineer

URBANPIPER is the leading Saas platform in restaurant industry. We help the smallest restaurants in the largest chains around the world to develop their trade inside the store. By automating all workflow tasks via online delivery platforms such as Swiggy, Zomato, Deliveroo and Ubereats- to build and publish sites and applications with brands, and the right to manage their customers walking and dining experiences, UrbanPiper is the preferred option for more than 20 thousand restaurants.

Your role:

Power: Devops Lead Engineer

Section: Devops/Devops

Location: (Bangalore/hybrid)

As the main Devops engineer in UrbanPier, you will be part of the Infra/Devops team that leads our infrastructure initiatives to ensure optimal expansion, availability, security and cost efficiency. You will closely cooperate with the head of infrastructure and multi -functional teams to automate the pipelines and enhance our cloud infrastructure reliability, with security and consider the cost.

you will:

• Leading efforts to improve the Urbanpiper’s work by improving expansion, availability, security and cost effectiveness.
• Contribute to the development of the strategic direction of UPBANPIPER Devops initiatives.
• Work closely with the site’s reliable team to reduce stopping time and ensure smooth operations.
• Develop automation solutions with standard industry tools to simplify the service spread.
• Regularly check infrastructure and records to determine abnormal cases and implement repairs.
• Planning and implementing technical projects that improve the system structure and provide services.
• Maintaining our compliance by monitoring and taking measures based on recommendations from the safety platform and our continuous compliance
• Cooperation with development teams to design strong cloud structures for new products.

We are looking for someone who has/he/can:

• Experienced: at least two years in the development of the application/product and 5 years in Devops or infrastructure management.
• Advanced cloud experience: efficiency with AWS is essential in the first place.
• Experienced in container technologies: experience with kubernetes (AWS EKS), Docker, ECS, and structure without a server.
• Experience in the K8S publishing management on a large scale.
• Database Management: Skilled in expanding the range of wide settings for both the databases (MySQL) and NosQL.
• Operating systems: Strong UNIX/Linux experience.
• Textual programming skills: efficiency in text programming languages ​​such as Shell, Perl or Python.
• Problem solution: the ability to explore and repair errors under pressure effectively.
• Documentation skills: strong writing skills with a focus on documenting operations and projects.
• Advanced experience with creating observation in different environments. (Aws Cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana Etc …)
• He has experience in building complex environments taking into account reliability and cost efficiency.
• Strong efficiency in the techniques of ecosystem in kubernetes including:
• Extensive experience in creating and managing Hemal Plans to fill and publish applications
• Practical experience with ARGCD for the ongoing delivery delivery on the K8S environments.
• Infintering with clear K8s files, including publishing, services and entry resources.
• Skills in exploring and repairing errors and improving the K8S infrastructure.

It is good to have:

• Experience in high -growth starting environment.
• Infalling with Devops tools such as Aws Codebuild, Codedeploy, Codepeline, Terraform, Sonarqube, Ansible, etc.
• Knowing the task waiting menu frameworks such as celery or Becca.
• Experience in the implementation and management
• Practical knowledge of ISTIO traffic management, security and observation.
