Role

The magazine coordinator supports daily activities participating in the publishing magazines of the Buristol University Press (BUP), which is the main publisher contact for a number of magazines in the list. BUP currently publishes 24 magazines with two other lanes in 2026.

Hybrid work is available with every Wednesday in the office in addition to at least another office day.

What will you do?

you will:

• Work closely with the external academic magazines editors and the Bup Journals team to publish our magazines.
• Your main responsibilities include the following: Communicate with and advise the academic magazine editor teams; Preparing the reports of the Board of Directors and attending the meeting of the Board of Directors; Construction of online systems to manage the pendant review; Work with magazines manager to develop our magazines and services; And cooperation with production and marketing teams.
