Role summary

Operations and progress manager is a part -time position (0.6 FTE) that provides direct reports to our head of the school. The appropriate candidate will have the opportunity to start immediately. We are looking for an enthusiastic leader to help lead the PaghKeepsie Day School in our next semester.

The director of operations and progress will have a cooperative approach to the project design, without fear of making decisions when necessary. They will be comfortable in the budget of many stakeholders, with strong and flexible communication skills. Although the previous experience in education is not a condition, the appropriate candidate will be excited to work around children, their education is our primary goal, as well as to cooperate with faculty and employees who have devoted their lives to support children through education.

Responsibilities

The director of operations and progress, under the general trend of close consultation with the head of the school, is responsible for contracts, employees and administrative responsibilities that are not derived from the school.

They direct the school’s administrative activities, including:

  • Employees -Supporting the jobs of non -innovative employees
  • Physical plant – Management of Utilities Cases in consultation with the Director of Utilities
  • Administrative operations Supervising the relevant administrative jobs as appointed
  • Progress – Supervising the collection of donations, graduate relations and development initiatives in cooperation with the head of the school and the relevant committees

Contracts and compliance

  • Review contracts, negotiation and acceleration of sellers, purchases, rents and bids, and ensuring compliance with school policies.
  • Supporting between tenants, officials and facilities employees in contractual and rent matters.
  • Managing and maintaining school insurance policies, ensuring appropriate coverage, renewal and compliance.

Finance and grants

  • Supervising the accountable accounts and cemetery, including paying the bill in time and bank deposits.
  • The head of the school helped grant requests to uncompromising needs and support the administrative aspects of grant reports.
  • Supervising commercial and administrative processes, and implementing recommendations as necessary.

Society and collect donations

  • Cooperation with the Chairman of the Schools Collecting Committee and the collection of donations for planning and supervising the processes of collecting, supervising and monitoring donations.

Management and strategic planning

  • Interface with school administrators and employees about employees, business and operational business.
