About the role

The UCL Institute for Design and Environmental Engineering and the UCL Energy Institute seeks to appoint A. Lecturer (teaching) in zero financing and healthy buildings. This role is essential to enhancing teaching in the areas of sustainable financing, healthy buildings design, and transition to pure chest carbon in the built environment.

About you

You will have experience in financing and a strong interest in its application within the built environment. You are enthusiastic about education and adhere to inspiring the next generation of professionals working for a sustainable, clear future.

Your experience in teaching and researching methodology contributes to financing, especially with regard to the design of sustainable buildings, modernization and development. You have the ability to integrate financial models and methods in teaching in a way that supports students learning, and combines theoretical foundations and practical applications in the real world.

You will be able to teach students on how to assess the effects of the economy in the cost and the health economy of the internal environmental strategies that link the analysis of the huge data to the wider luxury and societal effects. This is crucial to understanding differentials and financial effects to improve health and comfort through the design of buildings, especially in contexts such as housing, schools and general infrastructure. You will also develop new units with a focus on economic tools, financing models and investment strategies that lead the transition to sustainable buildings.

You have a capacity to design and provide attractive, comprehensive and high -quality education, and you can adapt your approach to meet the various students ’body needs. You are enthusiastic about multidisciplinary learning and you can communicate clearly complex financial concepts in the context of sustainability, energy and health in the built environment.

Your ability to link financial decisions to environmental and social results makes you in a good position to contribute to programs such as BSC/MENG Sustainable Building, Energy and ResourcesAnd support students in developing the critical skills needed to face the challenges of the twenty -first century.
