About the role

The Fashion and Textile Institute is looking for Big Lecturer For teaching through both photography fashion (with honors) and BA (with honors), guidance and art courses. In this pivotal role, the academic leadership will provide fashion photography students and ensure the highest university teaching standards.

It will enhance a supportive educational environment and thinking forward as ideas and talent flourish. This post will have a fundamental focus in providing fashion photography with opportunities to teach across both fields. You will also play a major role in building strong professional and academic partnerships, ensuring the BA fashion photography course (with honors) in the foreground and responds to the constantly changing natural scene to make fashion images through trade, culture and society.

About you

As an experienced and academic lecturer, you are recognized as a leading authority as a photo maker / fashion director. It will bring an in -depth understanding and personal experience of the relationship between fashion education and fashion industry. With high motives and focusing on students, you excel in directing various groups in exploring the creation of fashion images as a system, which helps students open their full potential and develop innovative methods of practice and research.

You will have an advanced theoretical understanding of the field of photo making, including its historical, aesthetic, social, political and context. When doing this, you will be able to take responsibility for teaching students, and to advise and supervise students who work with guidance / photography in fashion as a specific field and apply it in multidisciplinary contexts; With ambition to expand and test the limits of what constitutes a photographic practice in the field of fashion, attention and openness to other forms of artistic expression such as overwhelming techniques, cinema, fine arts and potential links between them.

You have excellent communication skills and be confident in using digital media to enhance learning and sharing. You can drive and work as part of a team, share knowledge and enhance a creative and supportive academic environment for both colleagues and students.
