We are seeking a post -PhD research colleague to work in the Tailwind project, based at the University of Southampton, under a specific contract for up to 18 months.

Research colleague will support the development of new fastening technologies for wind turbine abroad. Your role will focus primarily on the development of simplified mathematical models, and will contribute to the centrifugal stereotypes.

Wind It is a multidisciplinary international research project, funded by the Horizon Eurobe program, led by the Norwegian Geodic Institute (NGI), in cooperation with two other universities and 8 industrial partners. The project aims to reduce the costs of floating units and laying systems through the progress of maintenance techniques.

We are looking for candidates who have a background in civil engineering, preferably they have experience in physical, analytical and/or geosur numerical. You will be responsible for developing a simplified account model, suitable for integrated system modeling, and contributing to the central expulsion test for a new marina

You will participate in the comprehensive design of floating wind systems as part of a large team that has experience that extends on the lines of laying, floating platforms and anchors, with academic and industrial perspectives. You will have many opportunities to expand your network, in academic circles and industry, through project meetings, workshops and conferences.
