About the role
The Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), within the College of Business Administration at the University of Sussex, is seeking to appoint a researcher to work with him Dr. Ohid Yaqub. Research colleague will be part of a team working on the Metascience project funded by ESRC.
As a researcher, your main duty will be to contribute to the development of research posts from this project.
About you
You must have a complete doctoral degree (i.e. complete VIVA, no hanging corrections) and to be fluent in the English language by mouth and written. Some of your work will be already published at least once in a very respectable magazine with a wide audience (such as research policy). You have some experience working on classification and algorithm problems.
You have used a group of data science, statistical and/or biblios in your work. You have a strong interest in science and technology policy studies and “science science”. You have some experience working in settings that include sensitive and/or secret data.
