The University of Southampton University is conducting strategic academic dates to develop our university education and graduate studies led by research and research.
We welcome the applications of individuals who want to create research and teaching in mental health. A 50 % FTE candidate will work on a new NIHR project aimed at predicting response to drugs in children and adults with attention deficit/hyperactivity (ADHD) based on clinical, cognitive and physiological properties before treatment. They will provide experience in monitoring physiological data and prediction/decision model, while supporting data collection, analyzing and publishing it throughout the project.
The lecturer will also contribute 50 % FTE to the delivery of UG and PGT education, which may include a set of duties, including; Lectures, seminars, supervision of the project, brand, moderation and personal academic lessons.
We invite applications from individuals who have a background in machine learning and prediction/decision -making, as it is applied to clinical, cognitive and/or physiological data, as well as with previous experience in employing participants and/or experimental tests. You will hold a doctorate in the field of automated learning, prediction/decision -making model. The applicants are expected to keep or achieve in advance, linking the fellowship to contribute effectively to education and supervision.
The post -pregnant owner will join the multidisciplinary research team in Innovation Center for Mental HealthOur group uses a set of experimental methods including experimental cognitive psychology, psychological medicine, psychological physiology and neuroscience to understand pathological causes and better treat neurological and mental health conditions, with certain experience in ADHD.

The Faculty of Psychology has been recognized for the leading and highly influential research in the world, with the support of excellent research facilities (Ref2021). These academic clinical links include NHS services, laboratories designed for this purpose for nervous/cognitive test, social interaction and behavioral monitoring, treatment intervention and psychological pharmaceutology, and children/family studies. FMRI, electrical imaging (EEG), IEG/TDCS, psychological physiology, pain research including a quantum sensory test (QST), eye tracking, virtual reality and multi -sensitive treatment.
