Social media coordinator

Buckley School, the oldest educational institution in Los Angeles, is looking for a social media coordinator to work in the Communications Office. Buckley Communications Office works in cooperation with progress and admission teams and Dei to enhance hospitality, clear and accurate information and a vision of fairness and the pride of society. The main function of this position is to create content for Buckley and social media channels – as a writer, correspondent, photographer and graphic designer. By working closely with the director of digital content and reports to the Marketing and Strategic Communications Manager, the social media coordinator is the creative and encouraging spirit of the Communications Office, and the search for stories about the Buckley community and informing them orally and visually in a dynamic, fair and inspiring way.

Basic functions

• It creates daily content for social media, social sites and printing in Buckley.

This includes:

• Take pictures or outside the campusand From the relevant events, or members of the Bakli community
• Working with an external photographer or video photographer to capture the required content
• Writing articles, illustrations, magazine content, or any other materials for the above -mentioned media channels
• Design social media leaflets, printed graphics, slides shows, invitations, stickers, bulletins, etc. as needed
• Working with the factory operations supervisor that supervises the main calendar, updates both the internal and external site calendars, on the Mybuckly site and on the site facing the public. He attends all scheduled calendar meetings.
• He works with the director of strategic marketing and communications, the director of digital content, and the director of programs auxiliary on social media content and his timing in order to achieve the goals of admission, progress and community goals

• He works with trainees in communications, admission ambassadors, club leaders and teams, and community groups to collect, evaluate, modify and promote their news and content strategically via platforms
• Understand how to use Buckley (color palette, lines, slogans and elegance guide) according to best practices in design, marketing and brand development
• Organizes and runs the archive of the photos
• He works with the director of strategic marketing and communications, the director of digital content, and the director of auxiliary programs to align the web, printing, social media and the word marketing
• He attends events outside the campus as a correspondent, photographer and representative of the school
• Prepare and available to work during evenings and weekends if necessary
• Prepare and able to report to work on campus daily

compensation

The payment range for this role is $ 30.00 – $ 38.00 per hour ($ 60,000 – $ 75,000 annually) depending on experience.

The basic salary is separate from marginal benefits, such as retirement contributions, daily lunch, parking lots on site, contributions to medicine, teeth, vision or life plans, entry into our generous policy, or potential salaries (for qualified employees). Our salary ranges are reasonable estimates of what the school expects to pay for a role but not guaranteed. If it is appointed to the Buckley School, your actual basic salary will be determined through your education, your experience and the schedule of time.
