Be post -pregnant woman will be placed in College of Physics, Engineering and Technology (PET) at York University and their work will focus on the atomic and electronic structure of optical stimuli under conditions on the site in the environmental trunk/TEM, with the ultimate goal of translating knowledge into a practical application on a project entitled: ‘Interactive maps of optical stimuli using a dynamic ecosystem. This is a cooperative project between York-Jeol Nanocentre Department of ChemistryAnd the composition studies, the characterization and testing of mineral oxide oxide stimuli will require an air purification application.
You will join a research team in the description of the electronic microscope of the materials and the development of TEM/STEM and the modeling of materials; Managing your own project, setting and implementing the new electronic microscope descriptions within the site.
York-Jeol NC hosts a set of electronic microscopes, including Artemis, STEM/TEM is corrected in the environmental cell. York has connected the environmental TEM in the UK, and has developed an internal system that allows spectral analysis and atomic imaging in external stimuli, including gas, temperature, electrical bias, etc.

role
As a major member of the York-Jeol Nanocentre team, you will participate in the development of STET/TEM environmental technologies over the atomic scale. You will be responsible for the progress of both experimental methods and their application to critical research areas, such as internal pollution. The role provides a unique opportunity to work with a modern electronic microscope in a multidisciplinary environment, and to cooperate closely with TONOX, the leading company in the TIO industry.2 Nanoscopic particles and dyes.
The necessary skills, experience and qualifications
You will have
- Doctorate degree in physics, chemistry, material science or related subject;
- Experience in operating electronic microscopy for transmission and loss of electron energy and energy -dispersed X -ray spectrics.
- A busy record of high -quality posts reviewed by the peers.
- Excellent communication skills.
