Queens University Looking for a highly enthusiastic student student to contribute to the advanced research in understanding how lakes change in the Canadian Arctic. Dr. Laura Labam and collaborator, Dr. Laura Labam, joined the Maryland University Center for Environmental Sciences, to explore the world of the lake and the wonderful groundwater quality in cold environments.

Looking for a graduate student with An enthusiastic, curious and creative mentality, interested in the cold areas of hydrological operations.

Project objectives:
- Get data:
- Collect data in the northern lakes as part of a research team during a summer field campaign.
- Analysis of the water -collected water.
- Interpretation of the results of water quality and the induction of biological geological chemistry of the aquatic system.
- Climate change and fire prediction:
- Use the modeling program to explore how climate change and forest fires affect superficial water hydrocroma.
- Investigate the biochemical response to climate scenarios and fragrance fires.
Desired skills:
- Environmental field methods:
- Experience with surface water and groundwater control, including taking water samples.
- Prepare to conduct field work in long periods of long periods.
- Northern field experience is a balance.
