position

Role

The Foundation’s year supports progress to 4 as part of LCCA for 4 years. It provides students with basic academic and objective skills in business, hospitality, fashion management and marketing, and to ensure preparation for university studies.

As a subject leader – an institution, it will provide academic leadership and ensure a distinguished student experience.

The main responsibilities include:

• The design of the leading curriculum, delivery and evaluation at level 3 (with teaching across levels 4-6, and the desired level 7).
• Ensuring constantly high standards in teaching and students ’results.
• Support and guidance of faculty members, supervising quality assurance, and resource planning.
• Building and maintaining strong industry links to enhance student learning.
• Managing all aspects of delivery, of course, including planning, acceptance, evaluation and moderation.
• Contribute to the development of curricula, reviews, teaching strategies through specialties, and exam councils.
• Support employee and students development through professional practice, research and scholarships.
• Enhancing equality, diversity and comprehensive teaching practices in line with LCCA policies.

requirements

• Related and qualified undergraduate qualifications (or equivalent professional experience).
• Qualified teaching (PG CERT or its equivalent).
• Experience in developing and providing training course materials in business, art or design at the institution level.
• The experience of preparing students to apply for university studies.
• An innovative and reflective approach to teaching.
• Commitment to equality, diversity and comprehensive learning practices.
• The ability to inspire students and work cooperatively with colleagues.
