Research of the Department of Chemical Engineering and the process is used in science and mathematics to develop solutions to the challenges facing industry and society. These challenges include drug manufacturing, clean water and provide renewable energy. Research fields of the Ministry from the censorship assembly of nanoparticles to the design of advanced reactors, and from global warming with the storage of new energy and gas separation technology to understand the collection of protein in degenerative diseases. We have strong bonds with other engineering and science sections in both strateclyde and external. We are also working with many industrial partners.

The administration seeks to appoint a modern trainee who can provide technical support for our teaching and research. By working as part of a team, duties will include preparing equipment, preparing solutions and helping students to locate the materials or equipment they may need. Most work will be planned daily or two days by the line manager or a large technician.

At least from 4 NAT 5 in A, B and C (or equivalent) which must include English, mathematics, physics and chemistry.

The modern vocational training program was coordinated inside the university and the successful candidate is given an opportunity to “earn and learn” because they will achieve SQA qualification during a two -year program.
