About the role
Ursuline Academy seeks a full -time technology manager to provide leadership, vision and management for all aspects of technology throughout the campus. The principal provides reports to the head of the school, ensuring that technology, infrastructure and initiatives support both the academic mission and the operational needs of the school. This is a strategic and practical leadership role that oversees two full -time employees and works as a member of the administrative team.

What will you do?

• Development and maintaining a strategic technology plan in line with the school’s mission.
• Leading and guiding the technology team, enhancing the culture of service, innovation and cooperation.
• Supervising the school’s infrastructure, including networks, cloud services, classroom systems, reliability and safety guarantee; Manage and support the audiovisual function.
• Work alongside your team and actively participate in daily operations.
• Establishing and maintaining cybersecurity, data privacy, and compliance policies.
• A partner with academic leaders to evaluate and integrate educational techniques that enhance teaching and learning.
• Plans and providing technology education for all components of school (employees, students and families) on the use of effective technology.
• Managing sellers’ relationships, asset life courses, and the Ministry of Technology budget.
• Contributing as a member of the administrative team, helping to direct initiatives and planning at the school level, as well as sitting and participating in various committees throughout the school.

What you are attending

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or relevant field (masters favorite).
• 5-7 years of relevant technological leadership experience, perfectly in an educational environment.
• Professional Certificates (Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Aruba, or the like).
• Strong technical experience in communication, unified and wireless communications, mobile phone and cloud computing.
• The ability to oversee employees, budget management, and to inform technology strategies to non -technical masses.
• Cooperative leadership method with a mentality directed towards service.
