These things in the end should come. After spent 38 years as a doctor, or being the person who does things for other people, listening or decision -making, a time comes when you are sick, things are executed for you, and you are no longer responsible.
After a serious injury to the Rakhbi game 40 years ago (collapsed, besieged at the bottom, and the knee and the mixture were removed), I was offered to conservative or radical treatment: I chose conservative treatment, which means the Robert Jones bandage, and analgesics. No comfort, because I was a doctor in the novice hospital. Things went well about 35 years ago, but building a playing man (loose headquarters) means that only inevitable has been postponed.
Therefore, I now have total knee alternatives as a NHS patient. Surgery and care were excellent, and I recover, but it is very difficult to be responsible. I assume that with the progress of years, I will have to get used to a change in the relationship with my doctors (GP is now a GP registered in my practice several satellites). It is not easy to be negative, and to rely on the decisions of others.
I assume this makes me sick.
