We are looking for a Junior Fullstack Engineer. As a Junior Engineer at Fullstack, you will design, maintain, repair, deploy, and monitor APIs, features, and documentation for SerpApi. Our current stack is Ruby, Rails, MongoDB, and JavaScript. We deploy on Linux servers on AWS.

compensation: 80 thousand – 100 thousand annually + profit share

This salary range applies to our Austin, Texas office. If you’re based outside of Austin, we usually start the conversation with your local average salary plus 20% if that’s fair for your situation. Individual pay will be determined by location, skills and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design APIs, solutions and features to integrate into SerpApi
• Take an interest in specific issues and become an expert on those issues
• Publish clear, polished, and well-thought-out code
• Perform PR code reviews and assist other engineers
• Assist in troubleshooting issues reported by customers
• Prioritizing our issues, both on private and public road maps
• Thoroughly test solutions and fix any issues encountered before deploying them into production
• Write blog posts that address interesting problems, promote APIs, and technical solutions to complex problems
• Experience with Ruby, Javascript, Proxies, CAPTCHA solving, scraping and/or browser technology is a plus
