A little about our team:

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and direct-to-fan Senior Manager to join Warner Music Group’s global marketing team.

Your turn:

The Senior Director of Direct-To-Fan will lead Atlantic Records’ strategy to connect artists and fans, incorporating modern fan engagement into campaigns and artist development. This role collaborates closely with the frontline marketing team in the USA, the global marketing audience and fan engagement teams, and the broader D2F network to deliver innovative, data-driven initiatives that strengthen artist-fan relationships and build long-term value.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Global Direct Fan Services, the senior director is a strategist who understands fandom as culture and commerce. They will support new platforms, technologies and community-first models that give fans real value, keeping Atlantic artists at the forefront of how music and audiences evolve.

Here you will get:

Strategy and leadership
• Partner with Atlantic Records, alongside Senior Vice President of Global D2F Services and Senior Director of Fan Engagement, to shape and deliver the label’s D2F strategy.
• Incorporate a fan-first approach into planning brand campaigns and artist stories.
• Support innovation by experimenting with new platforms, tools and community models within brand campaigns.

Fan acquisition and engagement
• Shaping how Atlantic artists gain, engage and retain fans, ensuring fans have compelling reasons to sign up and stay connected.
• Work with audience and fan engagement teams to turn casual listeners into active superfans using first-party data, direct communications, and community building.
• Share best practices for cultivating fandom beyond social platforms, including direct communication channels and fan monetization.

Cooperation and support
• Build strong partnerships with Atlantic teams, ensuring D2F practices are embedded in naming activity.
• Work in partnership with the global network of D2F leaders to ensure Atlantic campaigns are supported and connected across regions.
• Act as a strategic advisor to marketers, enabling them to make the most of D2F platforms and data.

Measurement and insights
• Define KPIs and success metrics for D2F adoption at Atlantic Records, focusing on fan growth, engagement and lifetime value.
• Use analytics to evaluate campaign performance and provide insights that improve strategy and demonstrate impact.
• Track trends in fandom, digital culture and consumer behavior to ensure Atlantic artists stay ahead of the curve.

About you:
• 7+ years of experience in digital or direct fan marketing roles, ideally within music or entertainment.
• Proven ability to drive adoption of new platforms and practices within a label or brand environment.
• Deep understanding of fan behavior, community building and data-driven marketing.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
• Familiarity with CRM, e-commerce and community platforms within the creative industries.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Able to translate global strategy into label execution.
• A modern D2F strategist who thrives at the intersection of culture, technology, and audiences.
• Curious and forward-looking, always exploring new ways to connect artists and fans.
• Data-informed but fan-first, able to balance vision, creativity and community building.
• Collaborative and influential, with the ability to embed new practices across the naming team.
• Passionate about music and fan engagement, with a strong belief in the power of fandom in building a long-lasting career.

Salary range

$120,000 to $135,000 per year

Salary ranges are included in job advertisements where required by law. Actual base salary depends on many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time depending on a variety of internal and external factors.
