We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented professional to lead our Agency Banking division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving financial inclusion, expanding our agent network and ensuring operational excellence in line with the bank’s digital transformation and growth strategy.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and implement the overall agency banking strategy to drive growth, profitability and market share.
• Work with all stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of the Bank’s banking and financial inclusion strategies
• Regularly review agency banking operations in accordance with regulatory standards, bank standards, agent contracts, service level agreements and regulatory requirements
• Lead initiatives to improve agent performance, customer experience and transaction volume.
• Collaborate with product, technology and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery and innovative channel offerings.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Drive partnerships with fintech companies, aggregators and other stakeholders to enhance the reach of distribution.
• Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management and regulators.

requirements

Education/qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or any related field.

expertise

• – At least 10 years of experience in retail or digital banking, with at least 5 years in a senior management role within agency banking.

Other requirements

• Proven track record in developing and implementing channel expansion strategies.
• Strong understanding of financial inclusion, digital payment systems and agent management models.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
