Relations Manager (Assistant Director) – Al Bustan

We are looking for a Relationship Manager to serve as a key liaison between our HipHop, R&B and Gospel label partners and internal teams. You will be responsible for maintaining strong and productive relationships, ensuring successful execution of campaigns, and providing support for real-time updates and deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding and proactive approach to product management in the Hip Hop, R&B and Gospel genres.

What will you do?

• Relationship management: Maintain close relationships with day-to-day teams, ensuring clear communication and timely updates on project deliverables. Weekly visits to key clients.
• Campaign format: Ensure all departments are equipped with the necessary tools and support to effectively implement campaign plans.
• communication: Share regular updates with internal and external parties on campaign progress, priority release schedules, and other key initiatives.
• Project Management: Ensure plans and campaigns stay on track, respond quickly to action items and maintain momentum.
• Campaign implementation: Ensure campaigns are executed to the highest standard, maintaining a high level of service and attention to detail.
• Data-driven decision making: Use reports and data to quickly adapt to emerging trends and increase fan activity, and adjust campaigns as needed.
• Setting goals: Work with the relationship leader to build standards and define campaign goals at the beginning of each project.
• Artist and campaign insights: Stay on top of both high performing and developing artists, and identify opportunities to increase visibility and performance.
• Company knowledge: Act as a trusted and informed source on company operations, ensuring smooth campaign execution.
• Catalog optimization: Help improve label catalogs, especially at key support moments.
• Problem solving and flexibility: Be prepared to step in and address problems as they arise. Find creative solutions to keep projects moving forward. Demonstrate flexibility and balance in supporting naming needs.
• Performance reports: Prepare regular high-level performance reports on label, artist and campaign results for the team.

Who are you

• expertise: Minimum of 5 years in project management or campaign coordination. Previous experience managing product directly with brands, third party agencies, or artist management teams preferred.
• Analytical skills: Proficiency in using analytics tools to track and interpret release performance, trends and metrics.
• communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to act as a key liaison between artists, brands, internal teams and external partners.
• organized: Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and resolve challenges quickly.
• Project Management: Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and complex priorities simultaneously. Highly organized professional who pays close attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize tight deadlines.
• Proactivity: Ability to be proactive, with a problem-solving mentality and willingness to take initiative.
• Software efficiency: Familiarity with digital tools, release management software, and project management platforms is highly desirable. You are also experienced in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace applications and adaptable to new software.

Salary/Benefits
$70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
The expected annual base salary does not include any other compensation components or benefits for which the individual may be eligible. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the individual applicant’s qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education achieved, other professional certifications or licenses, and the location where the applicant lives and/or from which he or she will perform the job.

$70,000 – $80,000 USD
