Position summary

We have an opportunity for a wage and hour litigation attorney to join the firm Expand practice. Duties include, but are not limited to, drafting motions and pleadings, attending court conferences, handling discovery-related activities and investigations, drafting position statements, dispositional requests, employee handbooks, policies, conducting legal research, etc. We are open to an attorney who will join us as an associate (on the right path to equity) with the opportunity to grow their business or as a consulting attorney (on an alternative path) with work schedule flexibility and the opportunity to work from home sometimes.

We provide our attorneys with numerous writing, publishing, and speaking opportunities as well as access to robust professional development programs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, self-motivated professional with a desire to build a comprehensive recruitment practice in a team environment. This position can be based out of any of our California offices. This flexible opportunity will allow the attorney to work from home occasionally; Candidates must reside near the Ogletree, California office location.

• Doctor of Laws. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the State of California. While working, you must meet continuing licensing requirements to practice law.
• Candidates must have 3 or more years of California wage and hour experience.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills are required.

According to the California Revised Labor Code as stated in Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this position in California is between $195,000 and $262,500. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location and other job-related factors as permitted by law. This position is eligible for the benefits below.
