The University of Connecticut Football Strength and Conditioning Program is seeking to hire two or three highly motivated interns for Spring 2026. The goal of our program is to provide a comprehensive view of collegiate strength and conditioning, including programming, exercise techniques, and facility maintenance.
Interns will complete an educational curriculum, gain hands-on on-floor experience, assist with daily setup and reset of the weight room, perform regular cleaning and maintenance, and support other duties as assigned by the Strength and Conditioning team.
Prospective candidates must have an enthusiastic spirit, strong personality and demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills.
Qualifications
Pursuing or recently completing a bachelor’s degree in exercise science or a related field. Experience in a team strength and conditioning environment, as a coach or athlete. Candidates must be CPR/AED certified and have or currently be working toward their certification through USAW, NSCA, or CSCCa.
compensation
This is an unpaid position and does not include housing or dining assistance. Approved training hours can be obtained.

January 19, 2026 – May 1, 2026
