About the role
We are looking for a Numbers-obsessed, globally driven VP of user acquisition and growth To own and expand Quidax’s user base across Africa and beyond. You’ll create high-performance acquisition engines across paid, organic, and crypto channels, making sure we don’t just grow quickly – but profitably, too.
This role is not about running campaigns for fluff metrics. It’s about building sustainable growth loops, owning CAC and LTV, and turning acquisition into a repeatable, scalable machine.
If you have successfully managed large-scale acquisition programs and feel comfortable working in fast-paced, data-driven environments, especially in Web3 or fintech, then this role is literally in your pocket.
Key results (first 6-12 months)
Your success will be measured by what you deliver:
- Day traders: Grow active traders daily.
- Monthly Active Users (MAUs): A measure of the number of monthly active users.

- Contribution to trade volume
Core Responsibilities (How You Will Win)
- Growth Strategy: Design and implement a performance-driven growth plan across the Retail and VIP segments, aligned with Quidax WIGs revenue streams.
- Acquisition drivers: Build and scale acquisition channels (affiliate programs/KOLs, referrals, content, WhatsApp/Telegram growth rings, merchant networks, university ambassadors, community-led initiatives).
- Activation and conversion: Reduce friction during setting; Optimize your conversion funnels to attract more first-time deals.
- Retention and loyalty: Build engagement loops (gamification, habit-forming features, anniversary moments, rewards).
- Data-driven decisions: Use cohort analysis, A/B testing, and funnel metrics to optimize spend and impact.
- Arabization: Benefit from cultural insights, FX dynamics and informal trading behaviors unique to African markets.
- Partnerships: Unleash high-impact distribution through telcos, fintech apps and informal trading hubs.
- Mindshare Brand: Collaborate with marketing to make Quidax one of the Top 2 Most Recalled Cryptocurrency Brands in Nigeria.
- Team leadership: Build, coach and inspire a high-performance growth team.
Job requirements
Skills and experience
A must have
- Proven track record of scaling users/customers in a consumer product.
- Delivery date Performance-based growth KPIs (Acquisition, Conversion, Retention, Revenue).
- Data-Driven Operator: Strong in conversion funnel analysis, CAC/LTV modeling, and cohort analysis.
- Execution Edge: knows how Getting things moving quickly with limited resources.
- Leadership: Experience building and leading a multi-disciplinary growth team.
