We are looking for a Senior Policy Associate who will be responsible for supporting the firm’s legal team in all aspects of the firm’s global policy work with a primary focus on the Asia Pacific region. This role will also partner with internal business development and operations teams to help drive Uniswap’s international growth efforts across key Asia Pacific markets. We are looking for an individual with experience and passion for policy work in innovative and emerging technologies.

This is a remote role in the Asia Pacific region. Preferred location is Singapore, Seoul or Tokyo.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the company’s critical Asia Pacific policy work streams, including advocacy and participation in legislative and regulatory proposals
• Working with the International Policy team, you will help advise the business on the development of Asia Pacific policy or regulations relevant to our industry
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials and regulators across the Asia Pacific region to be a resource
• Guide our engagement with key stakeholders in the Asia Pacific region
• Preparing consultation responses, position papers and other advocacy materials
• Participate and represent the company in trade associations and other cooperative industry projects
• Work collaboratively with other members of the legal and policy team

requirements:

• 5+ years of experience related to Bachelor’s degree
• Asia-Pacific government policy experience, and experience in a regulatory agency or legislative office on financial and/or technology issues
• Familiarity with technology-related regulatory and legislative laws and proposed initiatives in key jurisdictions in the Asia Pacific region
• Willing to handle tasks large or small within a small team with a critical role
• Oriented, organized and detailed
• Proficiency in Korean and/or Japanese is preferred
• Comfort with occasional travel within the area as needed
• Willingness to travel to New York City once/quarter as needed

The minimum full-time salary is $202,000 – $225,000. Disclosure pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Full-time employees at Uniswap Labs are also eligible for other compensation items, including stock, tokens, and benefits, depending on the position type.
