Sustainable NI is a charity dedicated to promoting and supporting sustainable development across Northern Ireland. We work with councils, government and businesses to influence policy, deliver projects and inspire change through education, advocacy and practical solutions.

Sustainable NI is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Sustainable Business Leader to oversee the delivery of a major new business support project supported by PEACEPLUS, a program managed by the Special European Union Programs Body (SEUPB).

Over the course of 3 years, you will design and deliver high-impact sustainability workshops across Northern Ireland and the Border Counties in Ireland. It will support up to 400 SMEs in adopting energy efficiency, reducing carbon emissions, and unlocking the value of digital transformation – creating a greener, more resilient economy.

What will you do?

• Develop and facilitate monthly workshops on sustainability and productivity
• Create engaging materials including toolkits, templates, and roadmaps
• Helping companies analyze and reduce energy use and carbon output
• Coordinate logistics, manage participants and track impact
• Report on KPIs, participant feedback and workshop results

What we are looking for

• Strong knowledge of sustainability, carbon reduction and resource efficiency
• Experience in designing and delivering interactive training/workshops
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Confidence in working with a diverse mix of SMEs and stakeholders across borders
• Ability to travel across Northern Ireland and the Border Counties
