About the role:

As a Senior Python Engineer, be part of the cross-functional development team engineering experiments of the future. We’re looking in our company’s Platform Engineering department for someone who can help us create an exceptional developer experience and take our developer platform to the next level. We are building the next generation of our platform architecture and are looking for an experienced and talented developer. Someone who can swim quickly, react and adapt. Responsibilities:

• An innovative and exploratory mindset is crucial, and a drive to learn; Provide new perspectives on existing solutions
• You have experience supporting and maintaining high availability within a SaaS or web application and will have strong knowledge of web architecture
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python in production environments, with understanding of design patterns (SOLID, DRY)
• Powerful application and performance testing engine
• Strong experience with AWS or similar, with a focus on containers and Kubernetes

requirements:

• Deep understanding of RESTful API or GraphQL API design and development
• Experience working with GIT and CI/CD tools (Github Actions, Gitlab, Argo CD, AzureDevops)
• Experience using different tools and methods to monitor systems in production, using tools such as ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or AWS CloudWatch
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and improve software
• Concise and clear technical documentation; Create and maintain operating books and end-user documentation
• Comfortable working in Agile teams and participating in daily stand-ups, planning sprints and retrospectives
