We are an experienced innovation company and are looking for experienced people Senior Data Engineer To help design, build and improve modern data solutions. You will work on scalable batches and flows, ensure high standards of data management and security, and contribute to a cloud data platform used for analytics and AI.
Our preferred platforms are Databricks, Fabric, Snowflake, AWS, and GCP (in that order). If you have experience with Azure Data Services, this knowledge is highly relevant and transferable to Fabric.

The ideal candidate’s skills include:

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and streaming technologies
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
• Good understanding of data modeling, governance, and security best practices
• Experience in one or more of Databricks, Fabric, Snowflake, AWS, or GCP
• Knowledge of Azure Data Services is transferable to Fabric
• A problem-solving approach with an emphasis on scalability and efficiency
• English level is above intermediate
• Accountability, strong communication, collaboration, and time management skills in cross-functional teams
• A strong desire to learn more about business every day

My choice:

• Familiarity with CI/CD for data pipelines
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
• Exposure to machine learning or AI-based data pipelines

Your responsibilities will be:

• Build and optimize pipelines: Develop reliable pipelines for batch and streaming data using Spark, Delta Lake, and modern frameworks.
• Data Platform Architecture: Implement ingest, transform, and orchestrate workflows across Databricks, Fabric, Snowflake, AWS, or GCP.
• Data Modeling: Designing logical and physical models that support analytics, artificial intelligence, and business processes.
• Workflow orchestration: Use orchestration tools such as Lakeflow, Airflow, dbt, or equivalent to manage end-to-end data operations.
• Governance and Security: Applying best practices for data management, attribution, and secure access.

• Optimization: Monitor and adjust pipelines and infrastructure to achieve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
