Research Associate in Carbon Capture at the University of Sheffield

We have an exciting opportunity for a Research Associate to join the GBC Center to investigate the development and scale-up of new carbon capture facilities using novel processing and sorbents. This will include characterization of flow and absorption characteristics within the capture vessel and testing of real flue gases. The successful applicant must have experience working on large scale live streaming websites. This is a pilot project that will provide purified carbon dioxide for use by other partners in the GBC Center to produce value-added chemicals.

We are looking for someone with a PhD (or equivalent experience) in a relevant discipline and who has experience working with large scale pressure vessels and working on live emitter sites with raw flue gases.
