Job
This position assists the Festival Operations Manager and the Festival Booking Team with all necessary aspects related to Netflix, a Joke Festival project. This includes office management, contract management, production coordination, etc.

What will this role do?
• Provide day-to-day support to the Festival Operations Manager, Festival Booking Team and other team members, which includes but is not limited to:
• Answering phones
• Schedule and calendar maintenance
• Track and submit expenses
• Communicate professionally and gather information with artist agencies, management and festival staff
• Manage festival calendar and other festival related tracking documents
• Complete and distribute show confirmations and event status sheets to internal staff, venues and partners
• Generate reports as needed and distribute them to relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Manage show files to ensure all essential documents are in place prior to show day and festival, including but not limited to main contracts, support contracts, jockeys and W9s.
• Assist with industry and guest ticket requests and serve as on-site liaison as needed
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned

What will this person bring?
• Strong verbal/written communication, telephone etiquette, and use of computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Photoshop or similar software
• Comedy industry or talent agency experience strongly preferred
• Experience with systems such as Ticketmaster and SalesForce is a plus
• Ability to engage in positive interaction with co-workers, executives and high-level industry professionals. Prioritize, organize, problem solve, follow up, communicate, and tactfully defuse potentially volatile situations
• Ability to multitask daily, organize, pay attention to detail, self-lead, anticipate problems and handle last minute projects to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Quick learner with a strong work ethic and a high sense of responsibility in an ever-changing environment
• Must be able to handle sensitive matters and exercise excellent judgment
• Passionate about comedy and live action

The expected compensation for this position is:
$23.20 – $29.00 per hour
Pay depends on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills and experience.
