Surrey International Institute is looking for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer with experience in Business Law, Digital Business and Analytics, Management Information Systems, Digital Entrepreneurship and Project Management, International Business Strategy, and Business Fundamentals. This is an exciting time to join the team, as we redesign our international business curriculum, with a focus on business digitalisation.

You will also work closely with the Unit Leader at the University of Surrey in delivering units on the Chinese campus.

eligible:

Ph.D. Preferably in business administration or a closely related field and a recent record of scholarship published in peer-reviewed journals, or a master’s degree in business administration fields and a sufficient number of years of relevant industry and professional experience.

• Doctorate degree in Business Administration, preferably with teaching/industry experience.
• Successful applicants must be able to design and teach courses in international business and teach a broader area of ​​digital business fundamentals at university level.
• The candidate must have at least two years of teaching experience.
• Awareness of quality assurance processes in UK higher education.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain effective communications with colleagues, and use initiative to solve problems or find information.
• UK and international teaching experience preferred.
• A teaching qualification is preferred

• Applicants who do not fully meet all criteria or do not complete a doctoral degree may continue to be considered for positions, despite the agreed salary and conditions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and critically review various teaching and assessment activities appropriate to students’ levels.
• Promptly prepare and/or mark coursework, practical sessions and examinations, and provide appropriate feedback to students in accordance with the rubric.
• Provide regular consultation times, tutoring, and extracurricular support for students seeking guidance on their subjects, advice on assessments, or related issues.
• Participate in classroom peer feedback or other staff development initiatives to improve quality.
