The Oregon School Employees Association (OSEA) is accepting resumes from individuals interested in working for a labor organization in their capacity Field representative.

The Oregon School Employees Association is a membership-oriented labor organization representing classified employees working in Oregon’s K-12 schools, community colleges, Head Starts, educational service districts, parks, recreation districts and libraries. OSEA is headquartered in Salem, Oregon and also has offices in Portland and Eugene as well as numerous field offices located throughout the state.

Individuals submitting a resume for this position must include their educational background and work experience. Specifically, the resume should include the applicant’s experience and knowledge in collective bargaining, contract administration, labor relations, and organization related experience and provide examples of communication and planning skills.

General job description:
Works under the general supervision of the Director of Field Operations. Assists local chapters in developing and implementing classified employee advocacy programs with special emphasis on internal organization, member empowerment, negotiations, mediation, coalition building, political work, contract administration, public relations, chapter administration, and other related work as required.

Salary/Benefits:
Salary range starts at $72,864 per year, health benefits, 401(k), dental insurance, and employer-designated auto.

Job Location:
This site is located in the south coast area of ​​Oregon. Selected candidates may need to relocate.
