Position overview

The HR Business Partnerships Manager serves as a trusted advisor and primary HR point of contact for assigned departments, collaborating closely with leaders and managers to deliver people strategies that support organizational performance, culture and engagement.
Reporting to the General Manager of HR Business Partnerships and Project Management, this role will provide practical guidance in the areas of workforce planning, performance management, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and employee relations. The Director will also contribute to the design and implementation of the organization’s HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission, values, and strategic priorities.

Payment range: $129,375 – $148,070. This represents the current low and high end of the organization’s salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to experience.

Work schedule: This role relies on a hybrid work schedule, and is required to be in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Key duties and responsibilities

Support HR business partners

  • Partner with leaders and managers in assigned departments to understand business goals and deliver consistent people strategies.
  • Support workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning processes.
  • Provide advice on organizational design, role definition, and team effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
  • Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.

Collaborate on enterprise human resources initiatives

  • Partner with the General Manager to implement HR strategies, programs and projects throughout the organization.
  • Contribute to the development and dissemination of new HR policies, frameworks and tools.
  • Collaborate with your peers in Total Rewards, People Development and Talent Acquisition to ensure integrated HR solutions.
  • Use data and analysis to guide recommendations and measure program impact.

Change management and participation

  • Support change initiatives by helping leaders and teams adapt to new organizational processes and priorities.
  • Partner with leaders to develop and implement strategies that promote engagement, inclusion, and culture.
  • Assist in designing and facilitating team sessions, training sessions and organizational events.

Education, experience and skills

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR consulting role.
  • Bachelor’s degree, Human Resources certification or advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in workforce planning, performance management and employee relations.
  • – Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite; Familiarity with data analysis tools is preferred.
