Binance is looking for detailed and analytically oriented Transaction Monitoring Analysts to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety and security of transactions on our platform. You will monitor, analyze and report transaction patterns and implement protocols to detect and prevent fraudulent activity and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• Investigate customer activities to detect money laundering and other potential risks.
• Assess customer profiles and behavior to determine if further investigation is needed.
• Conduct investigations into unusual off-chain transactions.
• Write and develop concise and complete reports summarizing unusual activity and risk mitigation.

requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Law, or Criminology from an accredited institution.
• 1+ years of experience monitoring AML/CFT transactions, preferably in a fintech or cryptocurrency company.
• 1+ years of experience in AML/Fraud investigations, particularly in a FinTech company.
• Basic experience in blockchain monitoring/analytics tools like Chaina Analysis, Elliptic, TRM, etc.
• Basic understanding of blockchain transactions and the risks associated with them.
• Keeping up to date with regulatory requirements and changes within the Web3 industry, including Markets in Cryptoassets (MiCA) regulation.
• Good proficiency in conducting risk assessments, periodic/trigger reviews and enhancing due diligence.
• Analytical problem solver with experience in compliance functions.
• Goal and productivity oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate through ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Self-starter: Take initiative, be dedicated, and be creative to achieve your goals.
• Focus on developing tools to maximize efficiency and value.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, fully dedicated to providing value-added service to business clients.
• Demonstrate abilities to ask the right questions and use sound business judgment when collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.
